Our Products
Sugar
Monarch Commodities supplies its customers with white crystal sugar from Brazil, the EU and Thailand. We trade sugar to over 20 destinations in West Africa,
the Red Sea, the Med, Caucasian Republics and the Far East.
Rice
Monarch is a key player for the trading of rice in a container in Africa. We provide our customers a strict control and monitoring of the operations from the country of origin to the port of destination in order to offer a quality product with an affordable price to our customers.
Wheat Flour
We trade wheat flour from European and Turkish origin. Turkish origin flour is made from American, Canadian and Australian hard wheat.
Lili Lollipop
We have created the Lili lollipops as a premium quality product offering a unique flavour for the enjoyment of children in all countries.
Spaghetti and Macroni
We have created the Lili lollipops as a premium quality product offering a unique flavour for the enjoyment of children in all countries.
The Lili Lollipop is heart-shaped, availaible in intense strawberry flavour or in tutti-frutti flavour.
It is manufactured in our factory in Brazil in compliance with the strictest europe an quality standards.
Mayonnaise
We deliver to our customers first quality mayonnaise produced in France and specifically adapted to African markets. This product meets all European quality standards.
Sardine
We supply Sardines in vegetable oil, canned in “club” tins of 125g each from Morocco (50 to 100 tins per export carton). We offer Titus and Belfort brands in exclusivity depending of the destination.
Tomato Paste
We supply tomato paste from Italy and China. Both our Monica and Royal Gala registered brands are availablaon exclusive commercial conditions.
Soap
Taking advantage of our preferential access to the palm derivatives market (stear-in, PFAD…), we have developed a strong know-how relating to soap bars.

We can structure deals involving payment instruments issued by banks from most countries. Monarch Commodities assists its customers in structuring their deal in the most cost effective way. Monarch Commodities sources its products directly from selected manufacturers in the countries of origin. The company has developped closely-knit relationships with suppliers in Malaysia, Turkey, Brazil, India, Thailand and Europe. Monarch entertains long-term partnership relationships with its selected suppliers, enabling to reach optimal trade fluidity and consistency in price and quality.
In Brazil, Monarch sources its sugar on a ex-mill basis from the most reputable mills. Our local office, organizes the local truck transport to the ports, the storage and the loading of the sugar in the containers for onward shipment to the customers. This upstream involvement enables us to guarantee optimal pricing and the tightest lead times for delivery.
Business Objectives
Monarch pursues a strategy of value-added Cost and Freight trading strategy with the objective of optimizing its customer’s supply chain. The company provides its customers with real-time market analysis enabling them to benefit from market opportunities in terms of physical market, underlying futures markets and currency markets. Monarch actively operates as a principal on the sugar, palm olein, wheat-flour and rice markets as well as some ancilary products.
On the operations side, Marex offers state of the art service allowing in-time shipments and regular supply of the destination markets, thereby enabling its customers to reduce their saftey inventory requirements and maximizing their return on capital.
Shipping
Monarch Commodities effects most of its shipments in containers, allowing its customers to benefit from just-in time supply of the required commodities as well as smoothened-out cash flow requirements. Monarch enjoys privileged relationships with some
of the leading container shipping lines, including Grimaldi, Maersk, P&O Nedloyd, MSC, and PIL.
As an example, Monarch is able to deliver brazilian sugar in west africa within 12 days from booking the order from its customers.
